We want to increase the numbers of bursts and decrease the duration of the long bursts to a time close to the characteristic time of the dark current variation. Here we set the limit to 200 pulses with the 5mm pinhole and the current box on. 
The darktime is 2s for the red part (with low npulses) and 0.8s for the blue part.
